Alien | Mohammad Hassan Forouzanfar

The alien is a new set of retrofuturism projects, imagining a strange creature that did not come from space but is related to the past. In this collection, traditional Iranian architecture has shown itself on another side, which is more like space creatures.

The images in this project can be anything from a brick sculpture to a spaceship. In this project, the formal potentials of traditional Iranian architecture have been discovered and displayed in a different way. Something that may inspire or distort our previous perception of traditional Iranian architecture. Unlike previous retrofuturism projects, I have worked on, this time contemporary concepts go back and redefine themselves.
