In general but also in special cases, a well-created architectural work always supports in its complexity a major theme, which in the first place, is not architectural. This theme often centers issues that touch those few simple but eternal motives of everyday human life. Only after, in a second instance, the architect can bend those issues with a formal architectural creation through different grammatical elements and syntactical relations that will be a part of his or her own language.

The fate of this residential building project was exclusively determined by how much its construction would contribute to create a place. This means that the theme had to move from the inside, as a residential idea, to the outside of the building, as an accomplishing idea for the whole place. More than showing its architecture, the building would have to perform a harmonizing effect by repairing the surrounding territory underlining the idea that “before having a livable house you need to have a livable neighborhood”.

This goal would come to fruition through a humble position within its surrounding land and other context. Enclosing itself around by a hark, minimizes the building’s formal aggressiveness towards the plaza in front of it by also making it possible to be presented via a single façade. On the other hand, due to its location in the middle of a residential block, the building seeks to be a residence that is simple, proportional, clear and full of light for people to live inside and outside of it.

Në kompleksitetin e saj por dhe në raste të veçanta një vepër e mirë arkitekture gjithmonë mbështetet në një temë qëndrore dhe para së gjithash jo arkitekturore. Kjo temë ka të bëjë shpesh me çështje që prekin ato motive të pakta por dhe të përjetshme të jetës njerëzore ,dhe vetëm më pas, në një moment të dytë arkitekti mund të përthyejë këto çështje në një krijim formal arkitekturor me anë të elementëve të ndryshëm gramatikor dhe lidhjeve sintaksore që do të përbëjnë edhe gjuhën e tij.
Pikërisht dhe fati i këtij projekti për një pallat banimi do të varej kryekëput nga fakti se sa do te realizonte ndërtimi i tij një vend. Kjo do të thoshte që tema të kalonte nga brenda tij si banesë, jashtë në një godinë që do realizonte një vend , që më tepër se do të tregonte arkitekturën e tij do të harmonizohej duke rregulluar territorin përreth me idenë se përpara se të banosh shtëpinë duhet të banosh lagjen tënde.
Arritja e këtij qëllimi do të realizohej nëpërmjet një marrëdhënie tepër të përulur me oborrin dhe konteksin, duke u mbyllur rreth vehtes së tij me anë të një harku për të ulur në minimum agresivitetin formal përkundrejt sheshit para tij dhe njëkohësisht duke bërë të mundur prezantimin e tij me një fasadë të vetme. Nga ana tjetër i vendosur në mes të një blloku banimi ky pallat kërkon të jetë një shtëpi e thjeshtë, e përmasuar, e qartë, me dritë, pra vetëm dhe thjesht një pallat banimi i bërë për të banuar e jetuar njerëzit brenda e jashtë tij.
