The main idea behind this project was to create a symbiosis between listed building, tradition and modern living.

Corner benches and ceiling panelling were used to integrate the Gothic and Baroque elements of the parlours in the main road and the reinterpretation of the parlour idea in the flats. For centuries, the implementation of this idea, modified in various ways, has been common in traditional South Tyrolean homes.

The materials have been reduced in order to enhance their quality and workmanship and to reinterpret tradition without falling into triviality.
