Light Drops.
Helsinki, Senate square.
The north misses the sun, as lovers who are apart. In places where sunlight is rare, i imagined light drops spaces, where everyone can get inside, at any time, and get a strong sunlight break on the way to work, or home.
The light drops are multifunctional spaces, for relaxation, connecting with other people, sitting together inside a lightdrop as in an urban sauna, listening to music, taking a break from the everyday life, enjoying the healthy warmth.
Light is happiness- our physical and mental health is based on sunlight, our inspiration needs light.
These spaces can be flexible and move inside the city, bringing the sun to different areas, spreading light and health for everyone. In this case, Helsinki, Finland, showing how the drops effect the old Senate square.
