More than a house a Visual Journal: this is how this intervention was conceived as.

​The owner of this beautiful milanese apartment has a very distinct taste and a very precise approach to life: he is a collector, he is a hunter of curiosities, which are researched restlessly and displayed proudly not just for the beauty itself, but mainly for the memories they are tied to.

This is why the flat is treated as a neutral box, just like a modern gallery, where the surfaces all left in white and light grey tones, work as simple backdrops for the collection, no matter if it is a painting, plants, books or a giant gypsum copy of a Michelangelo's Prigione.

​Few were the updates to the linearity of the spaces: some niches are formed, following the same concept of a home as container, to hold the closets with the clothes collection, or the steel kitchen, also conceived more as a hard Judd-ish metal block than a functional object. 

​The original spina di pesce parquet is revamped, becoming the only coloured and natural surface, making the overall atmosphere very homey and cozy.

 Vintage pieces such as Castiglioni's Splugen lamp and weirdly shaped shelves from the 80s perfectly work together in the pursuit of a constant visual pleasure.
