Khudozhestvenny Cinema attic | Nefa Architects
Moscow / Russian Federation / 2021
This project was developed in a framework of the renovation of Khudozhezsvenny cinema in Moscow. We were supposed to create a private workspace/ for business meetings and screenings. The height of the given space in the attic allowed us to construct a mezzanine to use the space more efficiently. As a result the project embodies a small cabinet with a bathroom and a spacious amphitheater with a light-filled lounge zone on top of it.
Domestic materials such as classic wooden floors and oak facades for the walls and library were used to give the space a Scandinavian feeling: minimalistic yet cozy. The furniture was also carefully chosen to bring north european quality to the project. Table, chairs, sofa and armchair are by &tradition, light Viabizzuno and Artemide, cabinet chair Viccarbe.
