Quando si programma un viaggio non sempre la scelta di soggiornare in un lussuoso hotel rispecchia la soluzione ideale per vivere a pieno la città; a volte un alloggio più informale come il Bed and Breakfast crea un’occasione di conoscenza del luogo e delle persone più genuina e accogliente, capace di far vivere la quotidianità cittadina senza rinunciare alle comodità e creando un’esperienza unica nel suo genere. In una città come Roma, dove la vita di quartiere è l’anima fondante che caratterizza gli stili di vita delle persone che lo vivono, tutto ciò che si trova vicino casa diventa essenziale per le persone. In questo modo un B&B può diventare l’anello di congiunzione tra ospite e città cercando di far sentire le persone non all’interno di una struttura ricettiva ma finalmente a casa. Il progetto di questo B&B situato nel cuore del quartiere Prati a Roma, non solo gode di un’ottima posizione ben servita dai mezzi pubblici e vicina a luoghi di interesse culturale, ma grazie all’affaccio su Piazza degli Ammiragli, ricca di verde e vitalità, con vista cupolone di San Pietro, regala un ampio respiro di relax e tranquillità rispetto al caos cittadino. Il disegno degli interni è minimalista e essenziale, ravvivato da toni di colore pastello come il rosa cipria e il verde oliva. L’open-space è strategico grazie alla realizzazione centrale di una parete attrezzata realizzata in muratura e cartongesso che da un lato alloggia il televisore e le nicchie porta-oggetti e dall’altro lato diventa la parete di supporto della cucina, impreziosita da piastrelle dai disegni geometrici dai toni pastello. La sensazione di vivere, anche se per pochi giorni, in un focolaio domestico caldo e accogliente è rafforzato dall’uso a pavimento del gres porcellanato effetto legno posato in tutti gli ambienti, incluso il bagno. Oltre alla camera da letto matrimoniale, spaziosa e accogliente, nell’open-space il divano può trasformarsi in un comodo letto. Anche le luci con le loro geometrie disegnano, come in una quadro astratto, volumetrie eteree.

When planning a trip, the choice of staying in a luxury hotel does not always reflect the ideal solution to fully experience the city; Sometimes a more informal accommodation such as the Bed and Breakfast creates a more genuine and welcoming opportunity to get to know the place and the people, able to make the city live without sacrificing comfort and creating a unique experience of its kind. In a city like Rome, where neighborhood life is the founding soul that characterizes the lifestyles of the people who live there, everything close to home becomes essential for people. In this way, a B&B can become the link between the guest and the city, trying to make people feel not inside an accommodation facility but finally at home. The project of this B&B located in the heart of the Prati district in Rome, not only enjoys an excellent position well served by public transport and close to places of cultural interest, but thanks to the view of Piazza degli Ammiragli, full of greenery and vitality, with a view of the dome of San Pietro, offers a wide range of relaxation and tranquility compared to the chaos of the city. The interior design is minimalist and essential, enlivened by pastel shades such as powder pink and olive green. The open-space is strategic thanks to the central realization of an equipped wall made of masonry and plasterboard which on one side houses the television and the niches for objects and on the other side becomes the support wall of the kitchen, embellished with tiles from geometric designs in pastel tones. The feeling of living, even if for a few days, in a warm and welcoming home is reinforced by the use of wood-effect porcelain stoneware on the floor installed in all rooms, including the bathroom. In addition to the spacious and welcoming double bedroom, the sofa in the open space can be transformed into a comfortable bed. Even the lights with their geometries draw, as in an abstract painting, ethereal volumes.
