Tower of the Elders | Architettura Tommasi
Padua / Italy
Located between the two most important squares of the city, the civic tower stands as a symbol of Padua’s historical continuity and the identity of its citizens.
Visible from multiple squares, it is a familiar presence for locals. To make the tower accessible to residents, tourists, and cultural events, the project envisions the creation of a vertically developed museum.
The construction of a new internal staircase serves as a circulation system that guides visitors through the tower’s history, leading them to the highest and most scenic point overlooking the historic city.
