Na Hřebenech II | MARTINA DESIGN

About the project:

The project in Prague's Kavčí hory was assigned to us by a returning client and we were very pleased by the job.
The residential unit at Na Hřebenech II with three rooms and a kitchen corner and a size of 110 m2 is a part of a small development project Castle View at the Czech Television.

We started the cooperation at the beginning of 2017 and joined at an initial phase of shell construction, which allowed us to adapt the apartment to almost all our needs.

All wiring was implemented subject to our designs, we were also allowed to choose recessed lights in bathroom ceilings. We also chose our brands and types of switches.

Chosen from standard materials, the flooring was glued to an underlayer due to floor heating which was an above-standard choice of the client, and we, therefore, did not have to design interior heaters whose position would interfere with the furniture in the living room.
Door passages are smooth, without transition strips. The connection to floor tiles in the bathrooms is carried out by a subtle sealant joint at the same height as the developer was able to prepare the floor for us in line with this intention.
In the interior, the furniture is varnished in a matt look, wooden surfaces are made of solid wood.

Everything was tailor-made, including beds by Polstrin, and the company adjusted the heights and widths of headboards.
Locksmiths played a big role in the project when it comes to shower screens and the door from the entryway leading to the living room with the kitchen.

It took us 1.5 years to finish the apartment. The very completion of the building and the apartment takeover including furnishing took long.
