Located in a heritage zone in inner city Melbourne; a pair of brothers build a pair of contemporary townhouses so their young families could grow up side-by-side.
While being strikingly contemporary; the design lends its form and rhythm to the existing heritage streetscape.
The dwellings use a unique timber batten cladding which floats over the facade, doors and roof to create a simple gable form which mimics that of its neighbours.
