The brief was to create a contemporary renovation whilst being sympathetic to the existing semi-detached house. The renovation extended the existing home to include 4 bedrooms, a study and open plan kitchen, dining and living area to better serve the young couple and growing family.
Externally, a simplified approach was applied where all new elements where the one finish, ensuring the extension was homogeneous in appearance. A considered palette of neutral finishes was chosen internally, allowing the owners to add their own touches of colour and materiality.
