Southbank Place Spa | Goddard Littlefair

Setting a new benchmark for London, this super-luxe prime residential spa and health facility is at the heart of the new Southbank Place development, just across the river from the Houses of Parliament. Set within a below-ground floorplate, the design for the new spa offer creates an immersive feeling of light and space via innovative lighting concepts and a fresh and light palette of materials.
One of the key challenges of the design was its basement location. In order to create warm and radiant ambient light Goddard Littlefair collaborated with the team from Design Plus Light to introduce a system of sensory experiences throughout the spa.
