An etoecological issue.
The project was conceived just when our bodies and after a few days our minds were confined. Could this new house hold up another confinement? We wonder. This will be perhaps from now on the new question to project. Because if an architecture is good because it is flexible, bright and healthy, it will endure confinement and any future situation. Because it will be adaptive, evolutionary and caring.

We find a flat from the 80s in the center of the city. Extremely compartmentalized and organized with hierarchical spaces typical of another era, of another way of living.
Natural light was paralyzed too soon, circulations forced too unnatural movements and the different rooms were for only one activity.

Three things were the obsession to solve: outdoor space (more terrace), flexibility of use (interchangeable rooms), self-care spaces (teleworking, relaxation) and environmental quality (natural light more hours, healthy materials).
We force conflict (understood as something positive), we provoke our own exoticism and evocative architecture that would forget the continent and recreate a careful and delicate content.
The house is traversed in an organic and natural way and the transitions between rooms are proportional.
We got a healthy environment with natural materials: bamboo wood, lime paints and chalk lacquers. They make up a home with a "sssh" effect, in calm, in peace.

Una cuestión etoecológica. de cómo se comportan los seres en el ambiente.
El proyecto se pensó justo cuando nuestros cuerpos y a los pocos días nuestras mentes fueron confinadas. ¿Podría esta nueva casa soportar otro confinamiento?, nos preguntamos. Esta será quizás desde ahora la nueva cuestión a la hora de proyectar. Porque si una arquitectura es buena por flexible, luminosa y saludable, aguantará un confinamiento y cualquier situación venidera. Porque será adaptativa, evolutiva y cuidadora.

Nos encontramos con un piso de los 80 en el centro de la ciudad. Extremadamente compartimentado y organizado con espacios jerarquizados propios de otra época, de otra manera de vivir.
La luz natural se paralizaba demasiado pronto, las circulaciones obligaban a movimientos demasiado antinaturales y las diferentes estancias eran espacios estancos de mono-usos.

Tres cosas fueron la obsesión a resolver: espacio exterior (más terraza), flexibilidad de usos (habitaciones intercambiables), espacios de autocuidado (teletrabajo, relax) y calidad ambiental (luz natural más horas, materiales saludables).
Forzamos el conflicto (entendido como algo positivo), provocamos un exotismo propio y una arquitectura evocadora que olvidara el continente y recreara un contenido cuidado y delicado.
La casa se recorre de forma orgánica y natural y las transiciones entre habitaciones son proporcionales.
Los materiales acompañan un ambiente saludable, maderas, pinturas a la cal y lacas a la tiza, conforman un hogar con efecto “sssh”, en calma, en paz.
