This project aims to regenerate the Ligurian hinterland, promoting its distinctive characteristics, with particular attention to the olive tree, a symbol of the region.

The installation involves the creation of a panel in corten steel, enriched with approximately 300 ceramic olives treated to withstand atmospheric agents and perforated on the back to be fixed. This choice of materials aims to integrate the artwork with the surrounding territory, reflecting its natural features.

Furthermore, a reinforced concrete curb will be constructed to support the steel supporting profiles. Subsequently, the decorative panels will be treated to obtain a finish similar to rusted corten.

Each panel will be illuminated by a spotlight to make it visible at night, while the ceramic inscription "Chiusavecchia, the village of oil" will be illuminated by a LED strip on the top. Finally, new railings will be inserted on the sides of the installation, following the same design as the steel panels."
