E-Bike Stores | SG2 architects + interiors
Heidelberg / Australia / 2015
A new concept store fit-out was proposed for an established E-Bike supplier, within a retail strip in the eastern suburbs.
Proposed colour and finishes schedules were co-ordinated with existing furniture units and corporate colours. New clear-stained plywood shelving units with integrated LED strip lights were proposed, to increase bicycle display and storage capacity and to re-inforce the notion of “electric” bikes.
A large green carpet runner was proposed to unify internal spaces and create a suggestive bike path to navigate the store interiors. The exterior was kept subdued in contrast to brighter colourful interior, to focus one’s attention on the products displayed within.
