Architectural design is the concept that focuses on the components or elements of a structure or system and unifies them into a coherent and functional whole, according to a particular approach to achieve the objective (s) under the restrictions or limitations. given.
For many clients, working with an architect seems to be a complicated process, but what they don't know is that most architects use a typical design process to complete services for new construction. There are generally 5 phases of the design process that an architect must go through to complete a project.

Design development:

Design development collects the results of the schematic design phase and takes them one step further. This phase involves finalizing the design and specifying items such as materials, window and door locations, and general structural details.
Design development generally produces a more detailed site plan, as well as floor plans, elevations, and section drawings with full dimensions. At this stage, the expense estimate that was specified during the schematic design phase is updated to reflect the changes we have made to the initial design.

Construction documents:

Once the architect and client are comfortable with the drawings produced from the design development phase, they can move on to the construction documents. The document construction phase produces much more detailed drawings that are used for the construction of your project. These drawings include specifications for construction details and materials. Once the CDs are completed, the architects send them to contractors for pricing or bids, as well as to the building department for required permit approvals.

Construction documents often include a full set of architectural plans (site plan, floor plans, sections, details, etc.) that are combined with structural drawings (and possibly mechanical and electrical drawings) that have enough detail for the contractor to build your project.

Other Phases:

On larger projects there may be a bid or negotiation phase, as well as a construction phase service. These are typically not used in smaller home projects, but are an important part of larger residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Building:

So there you have it. Simply put, it is the complete process of an architect's service. By being aware of this entire process, hopefully it will help your general anxiety about your new home project!
