On the Tuscan coast, a stone's throw from the sea, in front of the canal that hosts the classic fishing boats of fishermen who sell fresh fish directly from their boats, there is this cocktail bar that overlooks the canal quay for its entire length with a high full-height glazing.

 To act as a filter and shade for the south-facing glass wall, a theory of hanging tropical plants that create a green waterfall from a ceiling with great aesthetic impact.

 A long wall in Rapolano Travertine acts as a counterfield to the glass wall and separates the service area from the preparation area.

 The palette of materials is deliberately restricted: rusty iron sheet for the front of the long counter, chestnut wood for the shelves, including that of the counter that protrudes beyond its base going to rest on a glass plate to become consummation table.

The result is a tension between the warm tones of the materials and the clear but sensual, warm and welcoming geometric design.

The visual order of the elegant and simple lines of the design and the natural materials induce the eye and the mind to relax, to recover the "luxury of the break", away from the speed of our everyday life, enjoying a coffee or a cocktail overlooking to see pass. the colorful boats.

Sulla costa Toscana, a due passi dal mare, di fronte al Canale che ospita i classici pescherecci dei pescatori che vendono il pesce fresco direttamente dalle loro imbarcazioni, si trova questo cocktail bar che si affaccia per tutta la sua lunghezza sulla banchina del Canale con una alta vetrage a tutta altezza.

A fare da filtro e da ombreggiante alla parete di vetro esposta a sud una teoria di piante tropicali ricadenti che creano una cascata verde dal soffitto di grande impatto estetico.

Una lunga parete in Travertino di Rapolano fa da controcampo alla parete vetrata e separa la zona del servizio da quella della preparazione.

La palette di materiali è volutamente ristretta: lamiera in ferro arrugginito per il frontale del lungo bancone, legno di castagno per il piani di appoggio, compreso quello del bancone che si sporge oltre la sua base andandosi ad appoggiare su di una lastra di vetro per diventare tavolo di consumazione.

Il risultato è una tensione tra i toni caldi dei materiali e il disegno geometrico netto ma sensuale, caldo ed accogliente.

L'ordine visivo delle linee eleganti e semplici del design e dei materiali naturali inducono l'occhio e la mente a rilassarsi, a recuperare il "lusso della pausa", lontano dalla velocità del nostro quotidiano godendosi un caffè o un cocktail affacciati a vedere passare le colorate imbarcazioni.
