Located a few meters of Avenida da Liberdade, the building is placed in the Urban Rehabilitation Area of Lisbon and also in a Protected Immovable Cultural Heritage Area. Since its construction, there has been great changes and modifications that deeply modified the original character and that led it to its former use of scholar equipment.

The intervention aimed for the conversion and refurbishment of a historical building, turning it into a six-apartment housing. As a result, the four existing floors were crowned by an upper extension. For most of the restructuring, the original materials and finishes which characterized this building and its construction type were maintained and renovated, such as with the original flooring, the internal wooden doors and shutters, the limestone pillar, the vaulted ceilings and the ceramic tiles distributed across its outside surface.

The patio, which was intended exclusively for parking, was reformulated, combining this same function to an additional leisure area, thus allowing a pleasant outdoor space.
