The house is located in Sotosalbos, Segovia, a Spanish town, home to a 12th-century Romanesque masterpiece. Casa Salbos is a modern villa inspired by the region's historic architecture. Its design with natural stone establishes a dialogue with the environment and the forces of nature.

The buildings in this old town of Segovia inspired ABIBOO Studio for this project. Local stone and traditional Castilian tile solutions are used here to integrate each building into the urban experience.

The decision to incorporate natural materials, and local and straightforward construction systems, has determined the creation of a home integrated into its environment. Even so, it stands out for a modern composition of pure volumes and the reinterpretation of the region's stone building solution.
