Daytona is a housing complex on the beach made up of 4 independent residences that are integrated together and that are resolved with only a 30% occupancy footprint, freeing 70% of the land for the recovery of coastal flora and fauna.

The staggered design of its north facade allows to generate terraces that take advantage of the views of the sea, directing them towards the sunset or sunrise on each level.

The program is resolved through two vertical blocks separated by an interior garden that guarantees cross ventilation and natural lighting to all interior spaces. The blocks are connected through the staircase, thus reducing the circulation corridors and maximizing the use of space.

The structural system is supported by two longitudinal load-bearing walls that liberate the interior space and allow maximum spatial sensation and openness towards the sea and the garden.

The materiality of the project is based on a single chukum coating, which seeks to reduce the cost of maintenance and improve its adaptation to the marine conditions of the site and its durability over time.
