SBM develops and produces care and protection products for agriculture, plants and home use. The French family company was founded in 1994 and is now represented in 31 countries
in Europe, North America and North Africa. All company activities are designed with
protecting the environment and natural resources in mind.

In 2018, the company moved into a new administrative building near Lyon. No ceiling lighting had been planned for the interior. The big challenge was therefore to find lighting which does not require additional light from the ceiling and which meets all the requirements for good and healthy room lighting.

An online search for potential lighting suppliers led to VITAWORK®. What set LUCTRA® VITAWORK® apart were the design, the product features (especially the imitation of daylight) and the price. The decision-makers had to choose between three suppliers who were almost equal in terms of price-performance ratio, but LUCTRA® stood out with its attractive package of individual cable routing and excellent service. Today, both open-plan and individual offices are equipped with 105 LUCTRA® floor lamps. Users are especially impressed with the quality of the lighting. The asymmetrical light
distribution ensures that even large and low-ceiling offices are evenly lit.
