Two world traveler nomads have spent 4 years in a constant state of motion. They have decided it’s time to think about the future once the traveling days come to a close.
We were asked to design a vacation/rental home, a guest house with common areas, and 2 rental units for them, which could capture the essence of their traveled experiences and provide them with a place they can call home.
A place in the water.
Continuing our exploration of container living, we felt nothing represented this duality of a moving lifestyle transitioning to a sedentary living better than a series of shipping containers anchored half in the water and half in solid ground. Lite structures hovering above the water, contemplating the movement and splendor of the beautiful scenery.
