Yoga studio in Torino, Italy
Yoga Ganesh studio is set to be a small private yoga studio in the middle of the historic center of Turin, Italy. Using minimal materials to enclosure the maximum space, we opted for a full restoration of the XIX century vault ceiling, connecting them with a natural wood floor for creating a natural harmony inside the main area.
Previously used as a small flat divided into two rooms, we opted to tear down the wall between the two main rooms and sign this change by using a black beam. By demolishing the wall, we created the main room where the apprentice can practice yoga. During the day, the room is well lit by natural light, while for evening sessions we decide to apply soft lights, to create a perfect situation for meditation.
