The site is located in Elektrenai Municipality, east Lithuania, 50 km away from the capital city Vilnius. The project is a reconstruction of the old country-house, surrounded by nature and facing the lake.

The silhouette of the building is expressive but neat, creating harmonious and respectful relation between the house and nature in terms of position, shape and materials. From certain angles it is possible to look through the building without visual barriers, perceiving the wholeness of architecture and nature, not really knowing where the interior ends and exterior starts. A sharp eye might notice interpretations of nature fragments in architecture. Architectural design reflects a principle of nature - while finish of facade is rigid using tough and dark ceramic tiles, interior materials – bleached oak, natural cedar wood and stone - are soft and light.

The building was named A TWIN because of the way one becomes two. One volume is separating into two just like a couple of branches are growing from one tree. Lower volume is dedicated to lounge and busy living area with a possibility for opening to the terrace and landscapes. The upper volume is devoted for more private leisure and relaxation. Attic floor accommodates rooms with a feeling of levitation above the lake. The aim is to honor architecture and nature together in its consistency.
