It is located on the surface of the old toy library, within the facilities of the Country Club Las Huertas sports club, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The concern of the administration in renovating this facility is due to the lack of activities for minors. The same site as its predecessor is chosen to minimally impact the green areas of the property, thus preserving the different plant species it has.

Its conception is governed by the analogy of the classification cube, this design item is chosen with three geometric figures (square, triangle and circle) so each compositional part corresponds to an individual, in this case each child, but as a whole they make up everything. It also facilitates the formal architectural language of the building.

These figures mentioned will serve at the same time, to ventilate and illuminate the interior space, being a blind building on the rear or south façade and open to the north in order to keep minors safe and in sight. Circular subtractions are generated on the roof, resolving the light input through zenith and ventilation with chimney effect.

Our proposal understands that each child in their individuality has a different potential and development, which is why we expand the program, providing a multidisciplinary space. Thus, the new toy library will be a place where the intelligence, the mental, spiritual and physical part of the minor is developed through free work, with the guidance of the instructor and specialized teaching materials.

The materiality shown responds to the surrounding buildings, with stone elements on facades, wood on roofs and exposed steel, blending in with the environment, achieving synchrony and respect for the context.
