TORRES DISTRIBUIÇÃO HEADQUARTERS | Atelier Data

Located in the city of Lisbon, Torres Distribuição Headquarters is the result of a project that fundamentally focused on the restructure and adaptation of spaces with greater public and commercial exposure that were already part of the group’s facilities.

Strategically and balancing all the premises adjacent to the project, the following principles of intervention stand out:

:: The search for unity and spatial clarity in all floor and intervened areas of the building, reformulating the visual identity of the building in order to articulate its own characteristics with the business object of the company - watchmaking;

:: Careful choice of materials, color gamut and furniture, reinforcing the character of sophistication, technique and rigor associated to the group, such as metallized and mirrored materials – which simultaneously promote an enlargement of the spaces;

:: Promotion of wider and clearer spaces through the removal of physical and/or visual barriers;

:: Utilization, on the floor -1, of two large existing walls that divided the floor into three parts, simplifying its organization, taking advantage of the original ceilings and achieving a greater usufruct of the existing outdoor space.

It was sought, therefore, that all spaces to intervene were adapted not only to the respective program but also to the new formal, aesthetic and comfort criteria that rulled the project as a unique gesture.

Situada na cidade de Lisboa, a Sede da Torres Distribuição resulta de um projeto que incidiu, fundamentalmente, na reestruturação e adequação de espaços de maior exposição pública e comercial que já integravam as instalações do grupo.

Estratégicamente e balançado todas as premissas adjacentes ao projeto, destacam-se os seguintes princípios de intervenção:

:: Procura por garantir uma unidade e clareza espacial em todos os pisos e áreas intervencionadas do edifício, reformulando a identidade visual do edifício a fim de articular as suas características próprias com o objeto de negócio da empresa – a relojoaria;

:: Escolha cuidadosa de materiais, gama de cores e mobiliário, reforçando o caráter de sofisticação, técnica e rigor associados ao grupo, como materiais metalizados e espelhados – que, simultaneamente, promovem uma ampliação dos espaços;

:: Promoção de uma maior amplitude espacial através da remoção de barreiras físicas e/ou visuais;

:: Aproveitamento, no piso -1, de duas grandes paredes existentes que dividem o piso em três partes, simplificando a sua organização, aproveitando-se dos tetos originais e alcançando um maior usufruto do logradouro.

Procurou-se, portanto, que todos os espaços a intervir fossem readequados não só ao programa respetivo mas, também, aos novos critérios formais, estéticos e de conforto que regeram o projeto como gesto único.
