Pendulum Console
A tribute to Niemeyer and the utopia of Brasilia Brasília / Brazil / 2020
The Pendulum console is a tribute to the architect Oscar Niemeyer and was inspired by the monuments in Brasilia. The poetry of fluid forms, the purity of white and the effort to go beyond matter, sublimating gravity express the utopia of a city that was conceived as a promise for humanity.
The object’s design is an aesthetic expression of the elegant balance between matter and gravity, synthesizing the essence of architecture and the city of Brasília. The sculpture is part of the “Tomorrow´s Utopia” series and is produced by @atelierrogerioreis in Brasília.
