Located in Martis Camp, Modern Family is a home designed and built to last for generations to come. Inside the large floor plan gives everyone a place to go for privacy, as well as has large family gathering areas to make memories to last a lifetime. Outside the parcel is one of the larger ones in the subdivision on a cul-de-sac. The 10,000 square foot home was placed in the back corner, allowing for a long private driveway. One of the most interesting aspects was the reuse of a large sugar pine tree removed from the garage area during excavation which was made into a 30' long picnic table in the backyard. The use of board form concrete inside and out was one of the main architectural designs. Crestwood Construction poured concrete in several stages for almost a year straight. The walls of the master bath are all concrete and that section of the house from the bottom of footing to the top of the roof is about forty-two feet tall.
