HYPERLOOP DESERT CAMPUS

The origins of hyperloop are deeply connected to the concept of speed and time. These concepts have been worked from another perspective in order to generate a new revolutionary and innovative proposal, this being the most ambitious project of it´s time.

The proposed building celebrates the essence and identity of the hyperloop, through a building that responds to a completely different perspective and is based on the interpretation of speed and traveling according to the theory of Alcubierre, who challenges Einstein’s theory of general relativity, Alcubierre suggests that instead of traveling in space trying to exceed the speed of light we could deform space with a mass and generate a kind of black hole to move from one point to another.

In this way, we understand that the terrain represents space and the mass represents the building.The building doesn´t maintain a completely orthogonal shape, trying to be dynamic and at the same time it´s deformed and diluted in the context, generating curves that obey gravity and keeps levitating over the earth.
