A Proposal design of 3k Sqf land in DFW Texas.
Focusing on the beauty of the wood the structure which uses in building the houses in the U.S. some structural elements exposed to be naked without covering. these elements used to define the entrances and reducing the sunlight on the porches as vertical and horizontal louvers.
Design a small Iwan space in the second level which provides a clear experience with light and shadow throughout the day and it lets the inhabitant gathering and spending time outside with privacy. The term Iwan came from Arabic architecture which means the high ceiling room in the courtyard with three walls around. this room designed to be occupied in the summer and winter days with different orientations
