Aiming to launch a new corporate image, the architectural design of the MDF Italia Headquarters in Mariano Comense is gaining a new exhibition area.

The new showroom features sinuous lines alternating with solid interactions and covers an area of 400 square meters. The interior design curated by the Israeli architect Pitsou Kedem creates a welcoming and dynamic environment, where walls and free-standing room dividers taper away in fluid and flexible lines, to guide the visitor on a visual-sensory journey, to discover the products.

“We used the sensuous and wavy form of the walls to outline spaces and at the same time to invite the visitor to move across and visit them" said architect Pitsou Kedem.

"We strongly wanted the renewal of this space to let it represent in the best way our new corporate identity, after the acquisition of the Acerbis brand, fully expressing the common values of the two brands and enhancing their collections. To reach this goal we relied on the skills of the architect Pitsou Kedem, with whom we have been co-operating since a while now. He has been able to perfectly interpret our needs" explains Roberto Cappellini, CEO of MDF Italia.

Clay was used as the only finish of the architectural elements to enhance through its materiality the peculiarities of the displayed products.

This setting hosts not only the MDF Italia novelties, including the new NVL table signed by Jean Nouvel Design and the reinterpretations of the brand's iconic products designed by internationally renowned designers, but also the set of the first Acerbis collection curated by the new creative direction of Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces.

Con volontà di lanciare un segnale di rinnovamento dell’immagine aziendale, MDF Italia arricchisce l’headquarter a Mariano Comense con un nuovo spazio espositivo.

Il nuovo showroom, caratterizzato da linee sinuose alternate a interazioni solide, si estende su una superficie di 400mq. L’interior design, appositamente studiato dall’architetto israeliano Pitsou Kedem, crea un ambiente accogliente e dinamico, dove le pareti e i divisori indipendenti si assottigliano in linee fluide e flessibili, per accompagnare e guidare il visitatore in un percorso visivo-sensoriale, alla scoperta interattiva dei prodotti esposti.

“Abbiamo usato la forma sensuale e ondulata delle pareti sia per delimitare gli spazi che per guidare il visitatore a muoversi all’interno degli stessi” ha detto l’architetto Pitsou Kedem.

“Abbiamo fortemente voluto il rinnovo di questo spazio perché potesse rappresentare al meglio la nostra nuova identità aziendale, dopo l’acquisizione del marchio Acerbis, esprimendone a pieno i valori comuni e valorizzandone le creazioni. Per questo ci siamo affidati alla competenza dell’architetto Pitsou Kedem, col quale da tempo collaboriamo e che ha saputo interpretare perfettamente le nostre esigenze” ha dichiarato Roberto Cappellini, CEO di MDF Italia.

L’argilla è stata utilizzata come unica finitura degli elementi architettonici, per esaltare e valorizzare tramite la sua matericità le peculiarità dei prodotti esposti.

In questa cornice trovano così luogo non solo le novità di MDF Italia, tra cui il nuovo NVL table firmato da Jean Nouvel Design e le reinterpretazioni di prodotti iconici del marchio disegnate da designer di fama internazionale, ma anche la prima collezione Acerbis curata dalla nuova Direzione Artistica di Francesco Meda e David Lopez Quincoces.
