luxurious family house in central Israel | Limor Schory
The master suite was inspired by boutique hotels around the world Tel Aviv / Israel
A luxurious family house in central Israel – A couple with four children. The
house, sprawled across 300 sqm, features three levels and a large garden
surrounding most of the ground floor.
I first met the clients six years ago, back when they only had three children.
I started the process with them when the house was still only a plan on paper.
Over the years, we worked through multiple changes together – the concept and
plan developed as the family grew. It was a long process – but definitely worthwhile.
The clients are people able to appreciate high-quality design. They demanded –
and got – a carefully designed house with Italian influences, including a
"quick stop" in Milan for inspiration. There we picked out the
accompanying furniture as well as the seating units for the living room, dining
area and kitchen.
At the same time, it was critical for us to create a practical, welcoming house
– a space fit both for children and hosting. The expansive kitchen was decked
out with everything a person could need for both cooking and baking. The large
garden was divided into areas for an outdoor kitchen and barbeque, seating
areas for hosting and various playground areas for children. The garden can be
accessed not only from the living room – but also from the kitchen and family
room. Each member of the household was allocated their own, fully private
space, including an attached bathroom for each room. The master suite was inspired
by boutique hotels around the world, which the parents frequent. The ground
floor is entirely dedicated to the children, perfectly suited for playing.
