Jary Al Shaike / Bahrain / 2016
Taking advantage of the site’s unique topography, the Bridge house spans across the natural 5 metre deep valley at the centre of the plot. The mancave and display parking are nestled within the valley’s western flank, and a fully glazed wall to the display parking exposes the collectible cars to the house and garden - creating a physical and visual link.
The first floor bridges over the ground floor and spa block, elegantly shading an infinity pool slotted between these volumes. The pool’s infinity edge and jacuzzi enjoy sunset views over the sunken garden, with its curved planting terraces, and the fully glazed feature parking beyond.
