A skating rink is proposed in the Parque Segunda República Española, located in the town of Santiago Vázquez, west of Montevideo.
It is a reinforced concrete corbel slab that develops on the Route 1 embankment. Steel pillars support the corbel and add sculptural character to space under the cantilever. The rink is closed perimeter with a steel mesh skin unfolded on a modulated structure of steel profiles.
Inside the rink, several pieces of equipment associated with the possible routes are developed: ramps, freestyle slalom cones, skate rails and seats that can also become elements of use by skaters.
