SOPHISTICATED HARMONY

Positioned on the top of a hill, projected towards the lake and Mount San Salvatore, this single-family villa stands out for its originality and elegance, fitting harmoniously, in some ways even unnoticed, in the nature in which it is held. Starting from the context, of which is not mimesis, the architect wanted, in some way demanded, from the inside or outwards, from inside to outside: a cozy and reserved living, at the same time open to light, sounds and colors; sculptural volumes composed of  "shells"  of concrete walls covered with thin glass diaphragms from which to admire the "underneath" life; a light elevation in "unstable" balance above a solid protective base; traditional materials coupled with elegance, wisdom and decisiveness to define subtle "chromatic" contrasts; attention to detail but without detracting from the overall system "stretched" towards the valley. All elements, declined with originality and taste seeking that synthesis between rule and exception, between repetitiveness and variation, so dear to modern tradition and to the Swiss and Ticino tradition in particular.  Themes on which, for years now, the architect has turned his attention with an artisanal, almost sartorial spirit, interpreting the client's requests in a sophisticated way, exhibiting a "sober", pleasant and refined luxury, an eclecticism caught in step with the times, with places with situations;  A "measured" luxury  , non-invasive, for every situation, with roots anchored in history always open to inclusion, experimentation and innovation.
