French-Swiss artist Saype works on a collection of six giant biodegradable landart paintings Sunday March 15, 2020 in front of the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Paix in Yamoussourko, Ivory Coast. With an overall area of 18'000 square meters, of which 12'500 square meters are fully painted, the 600 meters long and 30 meters wide painting (likely the worlds largest painting by a single artist) was created using biodegradable pigments made out of charcoal, chalk, water and milk proteins. This art piece dedicated to peace is the 6th step of the worldwide project "Beyond Walls" aiming at creating the longest symbolic human chain around the world promoting values such as togetherness, kindness and openness to the world.
