Hotel PH 1666, thorbeckeplein Amsterdam

In 2020 there is nothing left of the luxury of the golden age. De abandoned buildings from 1616 have been restored and are ready for a new future.

We brought back the luxury into the new interior so the spirit of the rich trading past will continue in these buildings at the ‘Golden Bend’. The luxury of the Baroque in contrast with this modern area. The modern times are down to earth, experimental, innovative and sexy.

The result is an eclectic combination of modern and classic elements with theatrical lighting, using the technique of chiaroscuro.
Raw brick walls next to perfectly upholstered luxury walls. Old Dutch masters left the building and new modern photography takes place.

The past comes back to life, ‘now’can’t without the past.
