This once small apartment of 70m² was renovated to become an integrated open space studio. Thought out for a cool and young client, the idea was to create a residence that expressed contemporary hotel nuances with a sophisticated urban home atmosphere.

An extensive glass façade throughout the apartment provides plenty of natural sun light and a breath taking view of the city. The bathroom wall was replaced by a glass that enables who's inside to appreciate the view but, for privacy, blocks out who's looking in. A fireplace and a tv share a custom made suspended carpentry piece between the bedroom and living room, serving both spaces that is controlled by app on the phone.

One of the special details of this studio is the zero use of the color white, the intention was to show that dark colors can also be used in small spaces when well planned. The décor displays shades of gray, black, as well as, the natural textures and colors of the materials used such as, corten steel  and marble. The furniture are mostly signed by contemporary Brazilian designers adding the touch of elegance the client desired.
