Working in close collaboration with Prater, BEMO has supplied over 20,000m² of its standing seam roof system to the new development at Manchester Airport.  Taking in the new Pier 1 and Terminal 2 expansion, the roof uses the BEMO N65/400 profile in 1.2mm stucco embossed aluminium with a TP205 deck profile spanning up to 9 metres.  The acoustic performance of the roof system was critical to the specification, therefore, BEMO and Prater developed a project specific test rig for independent testing to prove the attenuation figures achieved.  Much of the Terminal roof was site rolled at eaves level, reducing transport requirements and minimising storage requirements on site.

During 2019 BEMO will be supplying a further 3000m² to the Pier 2 stub as the major development continues.
