Creating spaces with different atmospheres where both creative and non-creative aspects of Senor’s everyday activities are carried out, while simultaneously reflecting the agency’s character, was the basic concept of this project. In the extremely spacious unit situated in a building by the well-known Croatian architect Viktor Kovacic, a set of clever spatial solutions brings new life to this 19th century bourgeois apartment. Throughout the day, various types of work are executed in the office, requiring different types of spaces and atmospheres. The various activities are defined through the use of opposed color themes of clearly divided sections within the same office space: pink, white, blue and red. Inspired by Senor’s visual identity, the pink section is furnished with sofas and comfortable chairs for casual creative meetings. It is also filled with numerous large plants, which, besides having an aesthetic impact, also purify the office air, creating a healthy work environment. The section intended for more standard computer work is defined by a white color scheme. These two zones are divided by an enfilade, transformed into a seeming endlessness by situating two opposing mirrors at each end. The monochromatic blue room is a space dedicated to escaping the busy parts of the office: this is an area for individual quiet work, meditation, skype calls or small meetings. It also offers extra storage space beneath its carpeting. Instead of a standard presentation space, a small room of the apartment is transformed into a mini cinema – the Senor Miniplex Cinema – with classic cinema seating, curtains and carpets featured in reduced size.
