Due to the stretched geometry of the site, the central parts of the plan had virtually no natural light at any time of day. Also the confidentiality and simplicity was a priority for the client .

So we decided to bluring the project both in the entry scenario and in the facade design and look at the sky instead.

As in the past, hoornos (traditional skylights) have been used to gain the light of the sky.

We tried to make the project completely closed and rigid exterior, against fluid and integrated interior.

The exact amount of daylight ,as one of the daylight indices, was calculated at all times of the year by the Ladybug plug-in to achieve the desired state.

It was observed that due to the high air temperature of Qom in the summer, the skylights create a greenhouse effect and intensify the building heat.

So, by designing roof shaders and accurately calculating its dimensions in the software, it was possible to prevent direct sunlight from entering the summer and allow light penetration in the winter.

The original yards were designed as a yard in the center of the project, but the client did not have a good experience using the yards in Qom, believing that this yard would not actually be used in the summer due to overheating and in the winter due to freezing situation.

So this yard came into the house and became a part of the enjoyable experience of their lives.
