Slow River Bay | Progetto CMR - Massimo Roj Architects

A breathtaking landscape, close to the natural reserve of the mountain range of Changbai, one of the reserves of the Biosphere selected by UNESCO, in an area of 282,000 m² will become the birthplace of the first eco-sustainable village of the region. Fitting perfectly into the context, the intervention introduces the architectural principles typical of small Italian mountain villages, in a way that is in perfect harmony with the local environment. The village will be animated by facilities for sports activities, hotel and shops to provide the essential services
to increase the tourist attractions of the area, geared to the (re)discovery of a natural treasure of inestimable value. A multi-building hotel, which has led to the realisation of one of the first “slow villages” in Asia. Under construction.
