A SYMBOL OF ITALIAN STYLE IN CHINA Tianjin / China / 2008
The building, located inside the Italian Concession of Tianjin, occupies an area of 30,000 sqm. The project, characterised by typical elements reproduce Italian classical style, in a contemporary way and can be considered a bridge between the 20th and 21st century and between the two age-old cultures, becoming a symbol of Italian style in China. Perfectly blending with the surrounding urban context, the continuity between internal and external spaces is guaranteed by the large window of the north façade, which creates a connection between the building and the front square, mutually permeable, actually the square becomes a full-fledged extension of the building itself.
