Idea
Brette translates from Norwegian as Folding. Such folding houses consist of several interlocking modules connected by hinges.
Using modern technologies, we made tiny housing simple again.

Brette Haus uses Cross-Laminated Timber. It allows us to manufacture sustainable structural elements, which have relatively small weight and could be easily moved. The secret sauce here is our patented hinge.

WIGO Group prefabricated cross-laminated timber panels for this project in their controlled facilities. This helped us to reduce time delays and material damage as well as to minimize site disturbance and noise pollution. The use of optimized plant resources is essential. It helps us to decrease the impact of manufacturing on the environment.

Thus, all Brette Haus cabins:
- Foldable and could be installed in three hours
- Up to 100 sq.m of ready to use houses could be delivered by one truck, and it meets the road regulations;
- All sanitary and electrical engineering are already prefabricated. You can move in immediately
- Being non-capital, it could be installed on any leveled ground
- The container-liked size makes it easy and safe to store and deliver at any time
- The natural ventilation process takes place in our houses because we use only solid wood.

Industry
The European prefab house market is growing 7-9% every year since 2012.
The reasons for this are:
- demand for smarter and cheaper building processes;
- shortage of qualified labor;
- reliability for time and money estimates.
More than that, there are popping up several projects in this area: last year, Amazon invested 6.7 million dollars in Plant Prefab; this year, Node housing startup was presented at Y Combinator Demo Day.
These are the signals for the total escalation of the prefabrication trend in construction.

The original idea of prefabrication was to simplify mounting and dismantling. But something went wrong, and now you need a crane, several people, certified electrician and quality control officer at the installation sites. And after all these activities, your wall prints might not match!
These technologies are getting too old!

Market
Our primary focus is on the outcity b2b hospitality market - glamping, camping, outcity hotels, etc.
European market volume is 300 000 000 EUR now.
Accommodations want to increase their capacity as simple as possible.
There is a strong trend in innovation detected in the camping industry.

Speed mounting is also important when it comes to the festival and fair management.

Business model
Customization kills optimization. We offer 1st standardized housing solution from order to delivery. We provide a one-stop-shop to satisfy busy customers.

Our lead time is 8 weeks from order to delivery, which is 30% less than our competitors announce.
