Heliotrope served as Project Architect for The Whale Wins, helping bring the design vision of James Beard Award winning chef Renee Erickson and her partner Jeremy Price to the Fremont Collective — a converted warehouse in Seattle, also home to the Heliotrope-designed restaurant, Joule, and the mountain sports retailer, evo. The Whale Wins menu revolves around a wood-fired oven and the décor is Brittany-seaside cottage meets spare Scandinavian. The palette is bright, with white-washed wood walls, marble counters, and white painted open shelves stocked with wine and provisions.
