Designed with a multi-generational family in mind, we created a home that would eliminate hardships and provide good circulation. We reimagined the dark, cramped first floor into a refreshing abode. This entailed raising the sunken living room to meet the kitchen floor for ease of use, adding more storage to aid in decluttering, and installing multiple overhead lights to brighten-up the entire level. To seamlessly blend his and her styles, which mesh mid-century modern with traditional aesthetics and Parisian colors, we infused a neutral color palette and used a combination of walnut, veined quartz and painted cabinetry. The result is a livable, light-filled space that is both elegant and approachable.
