The aim of the work is to adapt a historic Roman apartment of the early twentieth century to a new contemporary functional and technological level, preserving the original features of the apartment.
The whole operation has been carried out as a real restoration work, with small punctual and non-invasive actions: the consolidation of floors, plaster and masonry, the removal of the exposed technical equipment, the reconfiguration of the lighting system and the reconstruction of the only existing toilet.
To highlight the original valuable elements, in addition to the original grit floors on which the sign of the time was intentionally left visible, in contrast with the pure white of the walls, the old doors and radiators have been restored to the original ivory color, found below the layers of paint that had covered them over time.
