Our luxurious polished-steel, custom-built pool slide, Vertex, proves a slide is not just for summer, but also a stand-out sculpture for year round enjoyment. No filter was needed on this beautiful autumn day on the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
Standing at nearly 12ft high, we positioned the Vertex slide right on the corner of the existing in-ground pool by the infinity edge, to capitalize on the best vantage point of the lake-side position.
The mirror polished stainless steel sculpture echoes its environment in the intriguing contorted reflections, making a poignant but gentle impact on the surroundings.
As with all SplinterWorks slides, the structure is internally water cooled to keep the handrail and sliding surface at a safe temperature during the summer months. Micro jets lubricate the chute keeping the temperature down and the velocity up!
Our custom built slides are designed in accordance with strict safety guidelines and conform to US and EU safety standards.
