ENG - A family home in the countryside south of the French capital exudes the typically “bourgeois bohemian” charm that distinguishes many Parisian homes.
The homeowners – a young couple with three children – wanted to maintain the original layout of the house, jealously preserving its architectural features, and then chose functional, contemporary furnishings that create a fascinating contrast with the classic decorative style of the building.
In the living room dominated by large windows overlooking the garden, a corner composition of the Adda seating system has become the favorite gathering place of the entire family that spends much of its time here. Numerous side/tray tables lend the sofa added versatility. A Bangkok ottoman and upholstered Magi daybed contribute dynamic flair.
In the dining room, the oval Zefiro table is surrounded by Feel Good chairs and armchairs upholstered in a soft, sophisticated lobster-color velvet. Dishes, glassware and other table necessities are neatly stored in the sumptuous mahogany Piuma hutch, conveniently placed near the table.
Much loved by the homeowners is the small but enchanting winter garden, home to many plants and a comfortable Ortigia Outdoor armchair.
In the bedroom, the clean lines and generous padding of the Groundpiece bed, paired with the Feel Good ottoman and Jiff and Fly coffee/side tables, create restful harmony.
Beside the fireplace, the Thomas armchair offers an inviting reading area.
During the summer, the family spends much of its time outdoors. The garden in front of the house hosts the Zante sofa, with its sophisticated structure in iroko wood, an Ortigia Outdoor armchair, a Phuket ottoman and Fly Outdoor coffee table.

ITA - Una villa di famiglia nella campagna a sud della capitale francese che manifesta quell’allure tipicamente “bourgeois bohémien” che caratterizza molte abitazioni parigine.
I proprietari – una giovane coppia con tre figli – hanno voluto mantenere intatto l’impianto originale della casa, preservandone gelosamente gli aspetti architettonici ma hanno scelto arredi funzionali e di design contemporaneo, che creano un affascinante contrasto con gli ambienti che rivelano uno stile decorativo di gusto classico.
Nello spazio living, dominato da grandi finestre che danno sul giardino, è stata collocata un’ampia composizione angolare del sistema di sedute Adda, luogo di incontro prediletto da tutta la famiglia che vi trascorre molto tempo. Il divano è reso più funzionale grazie alla presenza di numerosi tavolini di servizio. Contribuiscono a rendere l’ambiente più dinamico i pouf Bangkok e la panca imbottita Magi.
La sala da pranzo vede la presenza del tavolo ovale Zefiro attorniato da sedie e poltroncine Feel Good rivestite in morbido velluto in una sofisticata tonalità aragosta. Piatti, bicchieri e tutto l’occorrente per la tavola sono ordinatamente riposti nella madia Piuma in pregiato mogano sistemata in prossimità del tavolo.
Molto amato dai padroni di casa anche il piccolo ma suggestivo jardin d’hiver, nel quale sono state collocate molte piante e una comoda poltrona Ortigia Outdoor.
Per arredare la camera da letto sono stati scelti il letto Groundpiece, caratterizzato da linee essenziali ed imbottiture generose, abbinato al pouf Feel Good ed ai tavolini Jiff e Fly.
Accanto al camino, la poltrona Thomas offre un angolo riservato alla lettura di grande charme.
Durante la bella stagione, tutta la famiglia trascorre molto tempo all’aria aperta. Il giardino antistante la casa vede la presenza del divano Zante, contraddistinto da una raffinata struttura in legno di iroko, da una poltrona Ortigia Outdoor, dal pouf Phuket e tavolino Fly Outdoor.
