Born out of an urban upgrade project with the goal of exploiting the former Veschi Furnace, the Aura Shopping Centre is a multifunctional business gallery just a short distance from Vatican City. More than 60 shops, a superstore, a fitness & spa centre and a huge bookstore occupy the space around the large central plaza, connected actively with the Metro network. An arrangement over four floors, where the last one opens up to a view overlooking all of Rome with a terrace primarily dedicated to eateries. Unique spaces that make the Aura Shopping Centre the new hub of relaxation and shopping, immersed in a green area dotted with pedestrian walkways.

ROMAN LIFESTYLE
Linea Light Group designs lighting for the Aura Shopping Centre. Particular attention was dedicated to the outdoors: a painstaking study of the lighting scenarios and the various settings guaranteed an adequate luminous wayfinding throughout the course of the entire day. For the indoors, the solution adopted allows the retail experience to be enhanced at 360°.

Describing the structure from the outside, two products are protagonists of the Aura Shopping Centre lighting. Installed on a vertical axis, Xenia RGBW stands out on the upper part of the façade, giving the geometry rhythm in a modular way. Xenia is an ultra high performance solution that can count on the reliability of OVP, ESD, TCS® and AcquaStop® safety systems and the wide performance range. Arcada marks the outer perimeter with its reduced size, creating a very precise arced diffusion. The resulting indirect lighting supports the path from the bottom up, leading to a perfect exploitation of the space by the customer. The profiles of the external handrails, as well as those at the imposing entrance and bronzed frames, accompany PU_C Plus, a strip solution with flexible and adhesive circuit: easily adaptable, it can be curved or cut depending on the architectural needs in the structure. Thin 66 and Stick, minimal and resistant to impact and atmospheric agents, were positioned in walking and car transit areas such as ramps and the car park. Included in the project, in the underground parking access area, Eral brand wired tubes were installed. Eral is a Linea Light Group company that supplies industrial lighting solutions. Inside the building, Fylo+ Direct are the protagonists of the Aura Shopping Centre: a masterpiece of creative geometric applications provided by a product that uses its linear properties as a springboard for volumes and definitions of space.
